Colorado State announced that it has signed a deal to complete a 4-game series with the brand new Texas San-Antonio Roadrunners football program from 2015 to 2018. It seems that the Rams are content with scheduling up for 1 game a year versus a BCS school, and then schedule it's remaining 3 non-conference games against lesser opponents.
Texas San-Antonio will begin it's first year of football in the 2011 season as an FCS Independent, with plans to become an FBS Independent in 2013. The Roadrunners will be coached by Larry Coker, who lead Miami to a national championship in 2001.
