ZACH: I really want to pick a close one here.  Boise State has completely dominated every WAC opponent.  Aren't they fit for some kind of letdown?  Fresno keeps it close for a bit.

ZACH: The Pokes are coming off the two worst weeks in the history of Division 1 football.  You simply don't lose to New Mexico and UNLV in back-to-back weeks and remain unaffected. That being said, the Cowboys have played much better at home.

BRETT: The battle for the Bronze Boot is tied at 21-21 all time. Wyoming took a step back from last season, courtesy in part to a very tough schedule. I picked Wyoming last week and they bombed, but they will come through for me at home this week.

ZACH: The Vandals were thoroughly embarrassed last week at home against Boise.  USU is coming off a tough victory over San Jose State.  This one should be close.  I think Idaho is a little better.

BRETT: Idaho will be ready.  They played the WAC's top 3 in consecutive weeks and lost by a combined 160-41. They know their bowl hopes are still in reach even after the tough stretch, while Utah State plays Boise next week. Idaho will want a second-straight bowl game.

ZACH: The Cougars have a chance to become bowl eligible on Saturday and set-up a great Holy War matchup with the University of Utah.  That sentence would have been ridiculed a month and a half ago.  Bravo to Bronco Mendenhall.

BRETT: BYU is favored by 30.  I'm saying bad weather will keep them from doing so, but a comfortable win none-the-less.

ZACH: While Wyoming might have had a worse two week stretch than Utah, the Utes were embarrassed on a supremely bigger stage.  San Diego State, fresh off a tough loss in Ft. Worth, are ready to make a statement.  I just can't see the Utes losing a third consecutive game.  Aztecs still can't beat the Top 3.

BRETT: Utah's offense is in disarray and a QB controversy is swirling, while SDSU posted 35 points on TCU in DFW, when TCU averages giving up only 11 points per game (including SDSU's 35!).  Utah will find it's way, but ... welcome to the Top 25, Aztecs.

ZACH: San Jose State better enjoy this trip to Hawaii.  Its football program is probably set for extinction.  Hawaii, on the other hand, is all smiles after being saved from the sinking ship known as the WAC.  Greg McMackin better send Comrade Craig a sweet Christmas present.
