Rate That Uni: Arizona

It's time to start our final set of uniform ratings: the Pac-12. First up is the Arizona Wildcats. The angrier Stoops has his team wear about every possible combination. Read our thoughts and make sure you cast your vote at the bottom.

And yes, Arizona really did wear all of these combinations just last season.

Brett: Helmet: doesn’t entirely blow me away, but is very solid. Home all blues/all reds: I usually hate this look, but, they use a white helmet, not a blue or red helmet with those. So they are okay as far as avoiding complete monochrome. Home red top white pants: Fantastic. A perfect uniform. I like it enough to ignore the weird pants stripe. If I could find them wearing blue tops with white pants, those would get an A too. Road blue pants: If you are going to play the mix-match game, these should use the blue helmets. Road whites: A good decision to wear the blue helmet with these. I’m not philosophically opposed to all whites with white helmets, but with such a minimalist design (no shoulder stripes, pants stripes are really small), a white helmet would look bad with these. Overall: A solid offering. The weird stripes and overuse of mix-and-match keep this otherwise great set down from A territory.

John: Oregon, Arizona, Virginia, soon Arizona State, Oklahoma State and Boise State.  This (Nike) trend of taking a school's colors and creating a home jersey in both colors, pants in both colors, plus a white jersey and white pants, has got to stop.  It's even worse when you start mixing and matching helmets, which should be consistent from game to game even if nothing else is.  The uniforms actually aren't terrible in and of themselves, outside of the dumb looking disappearing multicolored pixelated stripes on the pants and helmets, but there's something that rubs me wrong about the excessive mixing and matching, especially when the mix/match ends up with monochrome colors on the home uniforms.

Zach: I was happy to see Arizona return to the white helmet. The stripes on the pants and helmet are a bit strange. There are simply too many uniform combos here. That being said, I don't see a bad one in the set. I especially like the road uniforms with the blue and red pants respectively. Additional props for going with a blue helmet in lieu of the all-white underwear look. I love U of A's colors. The red is crisp. The blue is beautiful. And the Cats use of white is terrific. If we could just fix those stripes, we would be in excellent territory. BEARDOWN!

  

DJ: They barely creaked over the C+ range. The helmet is a good upgrade from the blue helmet. I enjoy the multicolor stripe on the helmet too. I have always loved a pure, shiny, white helmet minus Penn State. U of A's white just looks brighter to me. The jerseys are mediocre. They don't have enough design to them. The reds and whites at home are by far the worst of the bunch. What's the deal with the fading stripes? Ugly. The road with blue pants look sharp, even though they lack design. Overall they get a B- and will probably get blown out of the water by rival ASU's new jerseys.
