Editors Note: On occasion it seems Idaho will wear black pants at home, but they seem to have gone away from that mostly, favoring a standard gold set of pants.

Zach: The Idaho Vandals may not be a shining example of football pedigree, but they sure do look good on the field. There isn't a better color combo than black-and-gold and the Vandals use it perfectly. The helmet is clean. The logo is crisp. The jersey/pant combos are void of strange stripes and weird redundancy. Idaho keeps the same gold colored pants no matter the location of the game, and use either black or white to compliment the look. Terrific all around get-up for the Vandals.

Brett: The overall look of the uniforms is solid. I may be biased since these are my high school colors (imagine these same unis, but with the Ruff Ryder R on the helmet. THAT’S an A+ helmet. Go Royals!) And like at Idaho, football is always a difficult endeavor at my alma mater. Anyway, love the look. My only problem is that the gold on the helmets and gold on the pants don’t quite match until the pants get sweaty (eww), until then the pants are slightly lighter. Also, I like the helmet, but the cursive Vandals looks funny to me…except without it, you have a block I, which would look worse. But solid set for the Moscow Vandals.

DJ: The helmet is mediocre and I think a better looking design could be added to it. I really like the uniforms, even though they are somewhat plain. I love black and gold on uniforms. The collar matches the sleeve rings, which tie into the pants on both the home and away. The only reason I didn't give them a higher overall rating is because I would like to see some alternatives. Maybe all blacks or all whites. Overall, the Vandals have solid uniforms.

John: Idaho does uniforms the right way.  Clean, simple, good use of color combinations, etc.  This is why I say that teams with gold or silver should wear gold or silver pants with both the home and away jersey.  It's a good look.  My only real complaints involve the pants and the helmet.  It might just be the lighting due to the Kibbie Dome, but it looks like the home pants and road pants are slightly different shades of gold.  If so, that's unnecessary and should be changed.  As for the helmets, the script "Vandals" is unnecessary.  I get why they do it.  The plain block I on the helmet might seem a little minimalist, even for me.  But it shouldn't ever be necessary to spell out full words on helmets.  All in all, great sets of uniforms for the Vandals.
