Expansion Candidates for the new MWC/C-USA

After discussion on Twitter, I wanted to put down my thoughts on possible expansion candidates for the new Mountain West/Conference USA conglomerate. With many possibilities, here's where I think the new conference should look and why.

Utah names Brian Johnson as offensive coordinator

The University of Utah ended its search for a new offensive coordinator by hiring in house. Utah and head coach Kyle Whittingham have named Brian Johnson as the offensive coordinator. Johnson has coached quarterbacks at Utah for the last two season, and led the Utes to the 2009 Sugar Bowl title (for the 2008 season) while quarterback himself.

Utah also made several other coaching changes today.
